I had speculated of who the High and Low Ranking Gems are and what those made it connect their roles on Homeworld that had to be part of it in the process.
The Roles of the Ranking
Homeworld has a caste system full of Gem types that has hundreds of them, having roles strictly due to them of what they're made for in the process. With Gems having roles, each of them are High and Low Ranking. High-Ranking Gems have a high position in the hierarchy such as fighting or diplomacy which they're taking responsibility while Low-Ranking Gems have a low position, having to help with a lot of stuff and colonizing for the High-Ranking Gems in a generous way.
